Not everyone comes into the game with knowledge of ballistic drop, shell properties, or differences in shell pen, types, or effects. It’s really just a guide, once you know where to shoot, you won’t need it at all and it’s actually a hinderance. The indicator is also for the center of the aircraft, meaning your shots are going to impact the rear of that aircraft if at all if you aim at it. ![]() The indicator also changes based on your distance from the enemy. The indicator is calibrated for your largest caliber of weapon on your aircraft IF that aircraft stays its current direction That indicator shows the possible future position of that aircraft calculated for: If you’re shooting straight for it you’re doing something wrong.
